Uruguay

Uruguay is a country located in South America, bordered by Argentina, Brazil, and the Atlantic Ocean. Its capital is Montevideo, and the official language is Spanish. Uruguay is known for its progressive social policies, legalizing same-sex marriage and abortion, as well as its high levels of social equality and low levels of corruption. The country has a strong agricultural sector, particularly in beef and dairy production, as well as a growing tourism industry. The national football team is also highly successful, winning the FIFA World Cup in 1930 and 1950.
