Eritrea

Eritrea, officially known as the State of Eritrea, is a country located in the Horn of Africa. It shares borders with Ethiopia, Sudan, and Djibouti, as well as a coastline along the Red Sea. Eritrea gained independence from Ethiopia in 1991 after a long and bloody war, and officially became a sovereign state in 1993.

The capital city of Eritrea is Asmara, which is known for its well-preserved Italian colonial architecture. The country is known for its diverse ethnic groups and languages, with the official languages being Tigrinya, Arabic, and English.
