Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to greatly benefit The Gambia in various sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, education, and governance. With the help of AI, The Gambia can improve healthcare services by developing predictive models for disease outbreaks, personalized medicine, and medical imaging analysis. In agriculture, AI can be used for crop monitoring, yield prediction, and pest control. In education, AI can provide personalized learning experiences and support teachers in delivering quality education. Additionally, AI can help the government in improving efficiency and transparency in various services such as e-governance, law enforcement, and public service delivery. However, it is important for The Gambia to invest in AI infrastructure, data literacy, and AI education to fully harness the potential benefits of AI.
